At my high school That I don't ever wanna be like you So you're dead and gone, I'll fuck your anal cunt Anal cunt, anal cunt, dead to the world So what your dead, big fucking deal Punk rock is about thinking differently and subsequently behaving in a manner that will offend and repulse as many people as possible. Good Charlotte is the opposite. They play to please as many teeny bopping virgins as they can. GG Allin could have only two fans and he'd still sing songs about rape, murder, and raping someone he murdered. He is neither tamed nor bound to any guidelines or boundaries. If Allin was offered a record deal from the same people as Good Charlotte, he would draw a pussy on the contract and stick his dick through it. Either that or slice his arm open with the pen and sign "Satan" with his blood. I prefer the real punk mentality over the watered down version. I'm not big on vandalism or songs about dead anal cunts, but I have no choice but to respect a man who self-mutilates himself on stage and says things like, "I will not be tamed or act civilized... Everything I do, I do it to the extreme. Self-mutilation that satisfies me... Fast and hard, sleazy and cruddy... Raw, brutal, rough and bloody." G.G. Allin takes shit from nobody, shits on everybody, and would sooner die than be worshipped by giddy little 15 year old preppy bitches. If the members of Good Charlotte attempted one thing Allin did, they would be kicked off their record label and regress to a small column in the tabloids. Punk is represented by freedom. Good Charlotte is not free. They are the opposite of free. These mainstream emo punk groups have less freedom than bands who cater to nuns, republicans, and grandparents. New wave punk groups are so tied down to the system that they don't even decide what they wear to shows. That and everything else is decided by fashion experts, agents, and MTV. Allin's favorite attire was a dog collar, leather jockstrap, and heavy black boots. I'd like to see Joel Madden come out wearing that. He won't. Instead, he'll use styling gel to spike up his pathetic little mohawk and smile to his audience like a cocky little rat bastard. Good Charlotte, Thrice, Simple Plan, and every other emo band sucks beyond their image. Even their music blows. When a kick-ass band like the Misfits can sound better with a 4-track recorder than Good Charlotte does in a professional studio, it's obvious where the talent lies. Good Charlotte and Simple Plan joined the third annual Honda Civic designing contest and inspired everyone with words like, "Our car is weighed down with crazy hos." That's interesting, because if G.G. Allin were to be in that contest, he would say, "My car is trashed, bloody, and filled with all the crazy hoes from your car." He would then hotwire Benji's Civic and floor the pedal out of there. When compared to G.G. Allin, nearly every new wave punk rocker in existance is a raging pussy. This includes everybody who tries to fit the punk image. If you don't want to be a punk, that's fine, wear Abercrombie and Polo v-necks. There is nothing wrong with being like everybody else - you're safer and less likely to get embarassed or arrested. However, if for some strange reason your goal is to be unique, stop buying T-shirts and fishnet stockings from Hot Topic. Instead, focus your efforts on active hatred and offensive behavior. You might get somewhere if you spent your money on heroin and guns instead of spiked bracelets and black belt buckles. | ![]() | ![]() |
